"After spending $100 and several hours working on my two daughters' lice, I knew I needed professional help. One missed nit would be all it would take to repeat the whole awful process over again. From the embarrassment for my daughters to the lost time at school and work, not to mention the time put in treating their hair and cleaning the house. They don't use any chemicals and were delightful, upbeat and incredibly efficient. About two hour after she arrived I was absolutely confident my girls were lice and nit free. Jodi was a lifesaver! I found lice in my daughter's hair about a week before we were to leave on summer vacation and was completely stressing over whether or not we should go. I spoke with Jodi and she spent time with me over the phone to gather as much info as she could, as in where she may have gotten it, what to do until she got to our house, etc. She was available to come to our house with a few hours of calling her. My daughter was very nervous before Jodi arrived but once she came in and set everything up, my daughter immediately felt comfortable. Jodi has a wonderful personality and she genuinely cares for her clients. She spent nearly 2 hours combing through my daughter's head to ensure she removed all the eggs and bugs. While my daughter was in the shower, she combed through everyone's head in the house to make sure that none of us had gotten it. She did not charge anything extra for that, where as other places charged a minimal fee just to check extra heads. She also educated us on how we could prevent a breakout in the future and provided us with a very informative info packet so that we did not forget anything that she went over with us. I would GLADLY recommend Tampa Lice Company to anyone who has found live bugs and/or eggs in hair. It was worth every penny! And needless to say, we went on our vacation at the end of the week and we are still LICE FREE to this day!

I should've called TLR MONTHS ago, when our lice issue first occurred!! I would've saved ALOT of money (and aggravation!) had I done so! With that being said, on to our experience w/Maureen. First of all, She was able to come out to our house right away! She is a mobile service, and charges a house-call fee, which I felt was very reasonable.
They checked all of our heads, and only my youngest daughter had lice/nits. She has very thick and curly hair, which really hindered our controlling the situation. I was amazed that Maureen was able to comb through my daughter's hair with that nit comb, without hardly any discomfort! I was so afraid that my poor girl was going to have tears streaming down her face, but enough was enough, and we had to get this done! :( . To my amazement, my daughter said it actually felt really good, but with just minimal pain (if that makes sense). Maureen was very nice and personable. She is very friendly, and able to relate well with my teens. We felt very comfortable having her in our home. I definitely felt assured that this nightmare was over, The fee was very reasonable, and she was worth every penny of it!!! Thanks Tampa Lice Removal.!!!
